Montrose grad Anderson scores 4 points in Virginia loss

Montrose Christian School graduate Justin Anderson scored four points in the University of Virginia's 53-51 loss to conference rival Florida State University on March 7, according to Virginia's website.

The freshman guard also recorded two rebounds, one assist and one steal for the Cavaliers who are 20-10 on the season and 10-7 in the Athletic Coast Conference.

Virginia's next game is 6 p.m. Sunday, March 10 at home against Maryland University.

Anderson is a 2012 graduate of Montrose Christian School in Rockville where he was Gatorade Maryland Boys Basketball Player of the Year as a senior. Anderson also earned first-team Washington Post all-metropolitan honors for 2011-12 and was named most outstanding player of the Iolani Classic in Hawaii in December 2011. He is a Montross native.
